John and Linda West

 

We are John and Linda West and were British over 50’s Latin Champions for 2007 and 2008 retiring in 2009 undefeated. We were top of the EADA Senior II Latin chart for 2 years until retiring and were placed in the top 6 of the EADA Senior I Latin chart for several years. Regular finalists in the UK Closed Senior 1 Latin. Winners of Stars of the Future. ITDA and UKA qualified. Members of BDFI, BDF, BDC we started dancing at the Dennis Drew Studio in Manor Park many years ago, and then joined Western Dance School in Rayleigh, taking part in the Supadance League for several years before competing on the “Open Circuit”. We have trained with the top latin and ballroom coaches in England and took part in the England Squad Training for several years. We now want to pass on our knowledge to dancers of all levels and ages.

We currently have adult Ballroom and Latin American dancing classes running in two locations in Danbury and Great Dunmow. We also run tea dances every Wednesday afternoon at the Nevenden Centre, Wickford, covering ballroom, Latin and sequence dancing.
